I want to share my story and thank Lisa Abernathy and Blue Heron Acupuncture and Apothecary for changing my life (literally and you’ll see how!).

As we move into Spring, we acupuncturists begin to see more involvement of the Liver in patients’ health patterns. Coupled with the Gall Bladder to represent the Wood element, the Liver manifests creativity, direction, justice and vision.

This week we welcomed Nicole LaFountain to our Blue Heron family! She just moved to Charleston from upstate New York. Her approach to healthcare is to find and treat the root cause of symptoms, and help her patients learn to take an active role in their healthcare.

We are so excited to welcome Sarah to our Blue Heron family! Sarah just moved here from Massachusetts in order to be closer to the ocean. She is a licensed acupuncturist with a mixed background in all things relating to finding balance in the body.
