Dr. Jenna Wilsey earned a Doctorate of Acupuncture and Chinese Medicine from Pacific College of Health and Science. She began her acupuncture studies at New England School of Acupuncture and completed her Master of Acupuncture and Oriental Medicine at Dragon Rises College in Gainesville, FL.
Prior to studying East Asian medicine, Dr. Wilsey received her M.Ed from Lesley University in Cambridge, MA. She was a teacher for many years at Perkins School for the Blind and in the Boston Public Schools.
Chinese medicine teaches us to view the mind and body as a unified system. Dr. Wilsey's goal is to help people get back on their feet again, to relieve pain, and to do so naturally, with acupuncture and herbal remedies.
As both a practitioner and an educator, Dr. Wilsey focuses on understanding each person as an individual, in order to meet his or her needs. She believes that interpersonal communication, relationship building, listening, and compassion are integral to educating and healing. Dr. Wilsey specializes in pain management, facial rejuvenation acupuncture, cosmetic acupuncture, microneedling, TMJ, Bell’s palsy, post-stroke facial asymmetry, PTSD, stress management and anxiety.
